Well I have an HU with a detachable face. I saw a cobra yesterday at the car show I went to. He had just the face in the cockpit and the rest of the deck in his trunk. I think I may try that.

I know the odds of this being original are very very rare, but if it is you better not cut it for a stereo. If your considering it, sell the car and get something else.

Add on... get a fiberglass holder underneath to hold the deck, make fiberglass speaker kick pods, and I say fiberglass in either some 8's or some more full-range inbetween in the middle with the speaker aimed toward the driver / passenger head.

I have a 67 Shelby Cobra that has no tunes except the wonderful music of its engine and exhaust. My SO has been bugging me to change that. Unfortunately space is limited in the Cobra. I am looking for suggestions on speaker sizing and placement. And any other opinions as to what I can do to get a rocking system in the car.

Yes, its a replica. But its a very nice ride, nice job OP. Like the stacks. Which rotating assembly/stroker kit are you using? I had an Eagle kit in a Windsor, made good power and was very streetable.
