current set-up-

2 SI BM 10s in a fiberglass enclosure, front firing, ported to front, subs directly behind fold-down rear seat and sealed off from trunk.

issues- subs can't handle the power i want to throw at them and don't keep up as well as i'd like with the rest of the system. would prefer something lighter. have had this for two years now and am getting bored.

have 1500 rms at 2 ohms to play with

rest of system is balanced and LOUD- lots of high end image dynamics goodies (idx24, idq31s, cd1 pro mh, xs65 and plenty of power).

In the past i built the system around keeping my spare tire and no longer care about that so that frees up some more possible amp rack/speaker design options.

basically just want an simple but very showy trunk install

am open to anything from 1 awesome 15 to 8 8s and anything in between that will fit my needs. what would you do? what do you think would sound best enclosure location wise in my sedan?

I have 3 mtx 9500 12s yet as well (maybe i should just use one of them eh?)

ID MAX 3 10" on 1500watts, SQ at volume

IA mag if they ever get shipping then we will get more feedback on these woofers.

yeah, i know

i'm ditching the sub set-up either way- it's just a fiberglass face with some stereo integrities and a port (flush with back of seats and painted white to match my two-tone seats)

idmax 10" really might be the most logical answer- ported or sealed and what kind of enclosure (location wise etc.)?

I will also be adding nitrous to the car and need room for that (which i hadn't thought about)
