I wanted to wait a while so the people participating in the original threads discussing the topic could get one so I'm not even sure how many are left, I know the ti model is sold out but Juan is getting some more in.

Anyway, this is the deck that Denon made for fosgate in 2002 based on the older 20 bit A1N denon model. If you'd like to read up on it more:

and

The picture on the sounddomain site only shows the non-ti model, the ti model looks like:

These are in very limited supply, as Rockford is just trying to get rid of extra stock that didn't sell in the US. I'm sorry if this is against the TOS but I thought this was just too good of a deal to not let you guys know about. I am in no way affiliated with Sounddomain, just trying to put the word out on a good deal.

a minor few say it's the equivalent to the A1...

but the majority says it's the equivalent to the R1.

Whatever it is, it's a rebadged denon. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Haven't heard ANYTHING about Denon HU's. Good product?

Wondering because I'm going to be putting a stereo in either the wifes car, or the Yukon in the summer, need a HU and want to try something other than Alpine.

Even if it is comparable to the R1, the R1 retails for around 12-1300 doesn't it? Whether or not it is worth it is certainly debatable, but a quality deck none the less, especially for $350. As a little bit of a comparison, these decks still retail for $1900 in Japan and when they sold in the US they went to the dealers for $1300.

The R1 retails much less over here. Also, the R1 can be had for much less.

The A1000 is true denon "entry-level" Al24 bit processor deck, and retail is at about USD1200, but sells for a bit less, about USD800~900.
