delay in sound from subs.

i have 2 12" type Rs hooked up to a 1200 watt hifonics brutus wired to 2 ohms. the sound is a little delayed almost like the subs cant keep up with the music. any ideas why. would a capasitor help?

Do you have a phase shift button on the amp?

it has a phase dial and its all the way to 180. what about a line out converter. its axxess brand wired to the stock radio.

Minimize the phase to zero and see if it makes any difference.

Since that was all the way up...

What are the rest of the settings at on the amp?
