DEH-P880PRS vs DEH-P8600MP

I currently have the DEH-P8600MP right now thinking about upgrading to the DEH-P880PRS. I've heard good reviews about both decks but the DEH-P880PRS seems like a newer deck compared to the DEH-P8600MP and possibly better. I think the DEH-P880PRS doesn't have a color screen as of the DEH-P8600MP has more colors on the screen, and the DEH-P880PRS has more of a EQ Band. I bought the DEH-P8600MP for $200.00 and I'm about to buy the DEH-P880PRS for $200.00 also, which deck might be the better one?

if you want more tuning and less b.s. (like colored screens and stuff) then yes the 880 is the HU for you. it has endless tuning options. the 880 was made to be all about SQ. i upgraded to my 880 from an old 7800mp and i like the 880 a lot.

Nice...I indeed am looking for a SQ system. I'm very happy with the 8600 and it's color, but from what I'm hearing from everyone, the 880 is the better choice. I'ma have to taste it out.

Where are you getting it? THe 880 is ALOT better than the 8600, and its also better than the 860mp.

Getting it off Craigslist for 200.00. With iPod connector. All right I guess I'll buy the deck.
