anyone got a p600?

I just got a p690 from the 2007 line and I see the new p600 seems to be the 2008 equivalent. The specs look almost identical, with the addition of the ability to disable the display, and the ability to disable the internal amp. maybe better to spell it out in a bullet list:

• different remote
  
• disable internal amp
  
• disable display
  
• different face design
  
• 690(2007) has BMX enhancement and 600(2008) has ASR enhancement
  

any thoughts?
