need help

[94 one ton 10+ year member]

so i have a pioneer and im not shore what model and im in school so i cant go check. but its not the new model and its has green buttons and a turn volume knob. so when i turn it up past 30 it cracks and pops and when the bass hits it gets even worse. i just started this yesterday. any help

thats either distrion, or your speakers are ripped or blown...

i tore into it lastnite and found it was a stripped wire that was rubbin and shortn the radio out. thanks for your help, speakers are brand new
