Deck Is Not Powering On!! Pleeze Help

Okay, here is the problem, I have hooked up my pioneer Deh-4900 to my 2001 malibu, and when I got ready to turn it on, nothing happened!!!! I know which wire from the car is the +12volt constant, but I don't know whether to hook it up to the battery wire (yellow) or the ACC wire (red) help please!!!! Thank you!!!

did you use an interface module in the install....if not you need to run a new wire for your ACC...connect the 12v constant to the yellow wire

I'm a noob, what is an interface module, and I coneected the +12 to the yellow one and nothing happened

u need to connect both the yellow(constant) and red(switched accessory). if u know which one is constant hook it up to the yellow one, and find the wire that gets power with the key on accesories. or u can just connect both to the constant but u'll have to manually turn off the unit everytime u exit the car.

also all your presets will be reset every time you turn the car off. just to make sure the deck is good connect the deck (red/yellow) to car (hot) and deck ground (black) to car (chassis ground)
