DO WORK SON!
Im trying to install a line output converter on the rear speakers in my Monte Carlo SS. There is a factory amp, and I know which wires go to the speakers, there is 2 brown\tan whatever you wanna call it, and 1 dark red, and 1 white. My question is which are positive, and which are the negative leads? Im not entirely sure, but I think the red\white are the positive, and the brown are the negative... can someone clarify this?

a) why are you using a loc after the stock amp? why don't you get the signal pre-stockamp thus bypassing the stock amp and loc use all together? b) can't you pop out the speakers and just check to see what polarity each wire is right at the speaker? c) if you don't want to do that your best bet if no one has the knowledge off hand is to go to a library and find yourself a Mitchelle wiring diagram for your vehicle, it'll tell you everything you need to know.
