Currently running a pretty average daily.

-AQ 1200d on DC Level 4 12" in 1.7 @ 32hz

-Shuriken BT35

-JL 300/2 on Focal PolyGlass 165's

Now my dillema

I'm toying with the idea of finding a solid 4 channel to run ~125 to each focal and bridge the rear channels onto an IDQ or something similar.

Looking to take all strain off the electrical and return to a more lightweight, SQ oriented setup.

Ideas for amp, sub? Anybody interested in old gear?

Lastly; even worth doing this at all?

Anyone? Bump.

I just want a nice mix of SQ while maintaining fair output, via efficiency and surface area in place of power. Preferably a single driver.

I am familiar with plenty of woofers, but looking for extended hands on experience.

I know, and I am very worried. Since last time I downgraded it only stayed in the car for 3 days...I'm a basshead in denial.

But my SQ side is wanting a new sound.

It'd be easier if I had 2 cars, one for SPL, one for SQ, but moving twice a year prevents that.

I'm looking to run a single driver off the rear bridged channels of a 4 chan...

Probably looking at 300-400rms....

Nonetheless thank you a bunch for the knowledge, I may look to experiment with one.

Anyone else think that an IDQ15V2 would be my best bet? Maybe a SSA Dcon?

I have anywhere up to roughly 3.5cubes. But once again...power is ridiculously low.
