I dunno. As far as the amp goes, I think I'm satisfied. At least for now. I'm really looking at the XFL, but I can't find anywhere online that sells an 18. The dealer here will only go $400. A 15 would maybe touch $260. Any suggestions on where I could get an 18?

HT18 18″ Subwoofer | Stereo Integrity

This sub is a beast too, 174 shipped and is leaned more towards sound quality while getting pretty loud, doesnt need that big of a box either. 5 cubic feet net tuned to 28-32hz should do fine.

Muddiness of bigger woofers is a myth.

I run single sub set ups. Ran a zv4 18 and it sounded amazing. My 21 IA sounds great also. I have a SI 18 never powered it yet tho. Can't give opinions on that sub.

4 10s will cost more, the guy just wants to sell you more sh*t. My hdc3 18s excel on metalcore/deathmetal with fast double bass pedals so he's talking out of his @ss. Its all enclosure dependent. Most noobs that perpetrate that myth buy a crappy premade enclosure thats suitable for a 15 with very little port area. They experience port compression and sloppy bass then blame it on the subwoofer size.

I'm just waiting for my lows to reply to my pm. Should the price be good, I'll go with it. If not, then the FU 18 will win out. 2 week build time is gonna kill me though.

Jim(mylows10) should get you that xfl 18 without much wait. Put in the order for an enclosure too while you are at it.
