decent subs to run with this amp

I was running a pair of mtx 8000 12's with an mtx6500D amp. Now i liked the amp but the subs left alot to be desired. Im probably going to stick with the enclosed box as most of my music is trance/punk so i prefer accurate fast hitting definition base. So im looking to get a different set of 12's to run with the 6500d, they dont have to be the best out there, i need bass but prefer the mid/high quality to loud as hell bass. Just any suggestions better than the mtx 8000's

You're gonna want to look for a pair of 2 ohm DVC 12s that will work on 750wrms. That gives you 375wrms per sub. What is your budget? Right now, I'm thinking AA Assassins.

then the sub bass to fill out the sound

AA assassins would fit that amp nicely...as well as IA 187s...
