Decent SQ subs

I'm looking for 1/2 10s or 12s in the $250 or lower range. I want something with good sq as I listen to mostly rock along with some orchestral stuff. Need some help picking a driver. Also, something with around 6" or less mounting depth as I'm working with a std. cab s10

Soundsplinter RL-p falls in that price range.

*Edit...saw the mounting depth, I have a Standard Cab Silverado and I have 2 RL-p 12s, I did have to give up some room. But your best bet would be to get 2 10s or 1 12. Its just to hard to get a proper box in a Reg. Cab truck for 2 12's

IDK, they don't really excite me that much. I also forgot to mention that I wil be using 1000w @ 1 ohm from an old scholl Orion XTR Pro 1000:yumyum: (Thanks BiigBirney420!!!)

Yeah...I know what you mean...That why Im switching to a BTL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif. But for the price its hard to beat the RL-ps. I would say get the Fi Q's but I have never heard or even seen one in real life...and I dont recomend things I havent heard.

Well, then look at maybe at like a TC 3000. It might not be pure SQ, but it'll get earthshakingly low and sound fairly nice too.

i was already thinking about getting a Q 12, but it'd be cutting it really close for space, and I wanted to hear some more options.

Does anyone here know about the new Phoenix Gold RSd's? They look like decdent woofers, have fairly shallow mounting depth, handle the kind of power I need, and are very reasonably priced.

yeah, i just saw that post.

i think someone else mentioned chad telling them he might have a new sub coming out soon.

i'm not sure though. i talked to him last week and he didn't say anything about it to me.
