subs has 2 neg and 2 positive////so i connect 4 wires and put the 2 postive into one// and the 2 negative into 1///. connect inside the box and from the box i connect the 1 neg and pos to the amp.

How did you set the amp gain?unsure my friiend did it for me

What pass filter settings are you using on either the amp and/or the HU? no clue

i believe you wired a dual 4ohm sub parallel which made it a 2ohm sub. and if you bridged the 2 channels of your amp to that, the amp would see a 1ohm load and is probably not stable for that. edit: just saw that it is a dual 2ohm sub. which meant your amp was seeing a .5ohm load!
