Decent amp? Memphis 16-PRD1000.1

I want to buy a temporary amp until my herc gets fixed. Buddy of mine said if i buy this amp, which im gettin at employee discount although im not an employee, that he will buy it back off me when my herc gets here for his system. Anyways, i dont know much about memphis amps. Are they pretty decent? Heres the specs:

that seems to be the popular impression. And at $300 its aobut the same as ordering on the internet would cost, minus the shipping. Thanks for the input icetee. Anyone else got info on this thing? Does it put out rated power? less? more?

our local shop sells pretty much all memphis and according to all bench tests i've heard/seen they do. lots of kids around here have memphis amps

Night Time bump! Im lookin for opinions both from loyal memphis people to the haters. Let me know how these amps work! its gonna be 1000w pushing 1500w worth of sub.

may want to check on the Memphis ST1000D. They're the older version of the amp you mentioned but do 1100w@1ohm...plus they look a lot better, IMO. My friend had a pair of them a couple yrs ago, and loved them. I have no idea why I didn't buy them when he sold them.
