Decent amp for 25-35w x 2?

Unfortunately in my car I'm limited to 4" x 6" coaxials for my front soundstage, and due to the door design the speakers can be about 1 5/8" deep so I'm very limited in my choice of speakers. I think I'll be going with some Alpine or Memphis audio 4 x 6s unless someone here can offer a better suggestion.

I know everyone around here is usually looking for high wattage amps for subs, so I never see suggestions for small wattage amps like I'm looking for. I need a good amp to power these 4 x 6s so I'm wanting something that will put out between 25 and 35 watts rms. Sound quality is important as these are going to be the only speakers in the car other than my subs. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance guys

better add some bass blockers or a high,high pass crossover.4x6's dont like bass!

A 50w per channel amplifier should do just fine, and are much easier to find.

I've got an amp that's almost perfect for you!

It just so happens that I am selling an amp that will do 35w X 4 @ 4 Ohms (are you not going to have any rear speakers at all?)

Built-in high pass crossover as well so you wouldn't need the aforementioned bass blockers (though pickup1 was correct in stating that 4x6s don't care too terribly much for being forced to attempt to reproduce any low bass)

yes, I'll be looking for an amp with an adequate high pass x-over.

If yall think that a 50w per channel amp would work, any suggestions on a good amp for SQ with a good crossover?

I suppose ~$150, but since it'll be the amplification for the only full range speakers in the car I can save up a bit more if needed
