Decent 10" sub for around $100

Hello, I haven't been into the caraudio stuff in awhile and need some advice on a 10 inch sub around 100 dollars. I just want one 10" sub. In the past I had two pioneer 12" subs under powered in a ported enclosure it was alright.

I was looking at Boston-Acoustics-G210-44 and this one Infinity-Reference-1062W.

Sorry was gonna post links but cant since I am new.

The new Alpine Type-S SWS-10D2/D4. It has underhung motor, 15 mm xmax, and 500watt power handling, with reportedly good SQ. Amazing value for the money IMO. Should work fine with good qtc in 0.5-0.8 cubes sealed.

Boston G1, 2in coil, very under rated power handling, top notch sq

Boston G2, 2.5in coil, very under rated power handling, top notch sq

Infinity Ref/JBL GT5, 2in coil, good sq, well built and reliable

JBL GTO, 2in coil, slightly better than GT5/Infinty Ref

MTX RTS (Not RTL though), 2in 8 layer coil, should easily handle twice what its rated for

how much power at what nominal impedance?

Man that loaded Boston enclosure is pretty hard to beat for the money if you need a woofer in that power range. I'm sure its a well built box that you could keep for when you upgrade your sub down the road if you were ever so inclined.

I always forget about the Sundown E series, and yes you won't be able to match that loaded G1 setup for the $. I'm running a pair of G1 12s in 4 cubes at 31hz on 900rms and I am very pleased with how well they sound and how loud they get, esp running on almost 2.5x what they're rated for. I did 139db sealed on the dash with them and did 140db at the headrest when I put them in my buddy's Mazdaspeed 6 and 1500rms.

edit: the spl scores were on music too, no tones

lol...that is what I am screaming, good port area, tuned to low-mid 30, fuse protected.. prolly beat the shat out of it and get your money back on C/L if so inclined.
