coil can't reach backplate in the mag design..Its going to be dancing on the back plate if you do.
Then what is the clanking noise I get when I beat the piss out of it at 30hz and below? It scares me so I turn it down. Sealed is great for showing off excurrrrsion at the low end, really gets the mag moving.coil can't reach backplate in the mag design..
otherwise I would have broken both of mine when I accidentally hit then with 15hz @ 4kw the other day... demoing a track a guy wanted to hear.. and didn't tell me it was in there....

I dont doubt you trust me...But I know its not clipping and it sure doesnt sound like supention noise. I know for a fact that the box is sealed up nicely.suspension noise, clipping, or the box isn't completely sealed..
if you're bottoming the coil... it only clanks a few times... then the hamsters leave..
trust me... coil don't get to backplate.. you can ask hicks, or midget.. both of them have witnessed what all I do to these poor woofers..
