Death of a TC Sounds 4hp 18"

So how do you like the warlord?
Sweet amp, no complaints here, other than it crispied my 4hp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I really like the fact that I dont have to have a really high volt preamp out to use this amp, its fairly sensative in relation to the gain span already. When I compete with it, I can usually get 4 burps off of 90 amps worth of fusing, so thats just peachy with me.

I was driving around tonight listening to the mag, its a great sounding sub for sure. After listening to it for awhile im leaning it towards SQ than SPL as far as my ears are concerned. Still, if you had 4 of them in a nice size box in the back of my jeep, im sure it would wang just nicely.

and yes, im going to do a video similar to my Massive CW video I released a couple of months ago with termlab action of course //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

and speaking of Massive Audio, they finally added me to their website under their Team pics, a complete year after I dropped them as a sponsor.....lol

That 12 yo have in there know will not catch fire like the 4hp did, it will just explode.

Recone topics. It is VERY easy to recone, the only problem you might have is getting the shims in, but even that is easy.

But dang, you guys are trippin. Just because he has a 5kw amp doesn't mean it's actually getting 5kw. . . give snoop more credit than that.

BTW, isn't that box the same you used for the CW? Like tuned high 40's?

Yes it is the same box I used to test the CW, and honestly they sound pretty close to each other in it. Im aslo betting (since I dont have the termlab setup to test today) that when I do get it setup for a test the numbers made by both subs should be around the same. Ive come to the conclusion from driving around for 2 hours today listening to some of my favorite tracks that the output of the Mag 12 is pretty close to that of a CW 12. Very interesting since once costs almost half as the other //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

oh and all the pics you saw earlier that I posted is the recone on these 4hp's....they're just screw on / screw off top assemblies for the most part. I know, I kinda got away easy on this recone, lol.
