do the shims get left in or removed before you put the dustcap on?

You remove them after you glue everything down.

cant wait to get my new top for my 4hp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif im excited.....wish i didnt have to sell a kidney on the black market to help pay for it....but the TC has been nice to me as far as helping me rebuild a new top with my old VC for a lil less than a whole new one (my spiders took a dump, but it was my fault 100%)........cant wait....
