Dealer Cost Car Audio

Plain and simple fella's, don't buy from there (http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com). Yes, the pricing is decent but I'm coming up on 2 weeks just to get a tracking number, I have had to consolidate 2 pairs of speakers for 1-pair (because I was told the other were delayed at the manufacturer). So I do this 2-days ago, get a set that costs less than the actual cost of my 2 sets and ask for upgraded shipping (numerous times). Tonight after I have to follow-up (yet again) he tells me 1-2 days and I will get my TRACKING number.

ha ha ha. Glad it was only 150 bucks. So I'm going to hit the store this weekend to get a pair just so I can get this install going (as I'm already going on my 2nd weekend of having to re-schedule.)

You get what you pay for, all I can say.

Wurd. Pricing was so good though. I even understand slow shipping to keep costs down, but man when your talking to someone over and over and telling them we need to improve shipping and it doesn't happen.

This is like the 10th complaint thread or so floating around on this forum about this company. I really wish people would research before they purchase so we do not see all these innoceant poeple getting jacked by Dealercost.

Although I am saying "DOH" for not searching CA.com, I did a bunch of online searching but it was pretty even about good to bad. Pricing was great, so worth a shot.

I wouldn't say I got jacked though. I have a great credit card. As soon as I felt like I was being scammed, I called and they did a charge-back.

Ironically there is a dealer cost car audio ad up at the top in ads by google right now ha ha
