Deadening: Need help covering large hole...

I have a rather huge opeining in my door about 14x8. Is not flat either. I need something rigid, yet still flexible. I read somewhere about some metal screen mesh, but I cant remember where to get it or what it was called. Any help?

Could get some roof flashing from home depot, coat it on both sides with deadener and screw it to the door. Can also use plexi, just heat and bend it to fit snug over any contours, deadening over that as well of course.

x2 with the roof flashing. I usually double it though and then put deadener on both sides.
