Here's how it works....if somthing is buzzing (ex. your door panel) and you push on it with your hand you are essentially making it heavier (kind of) which makes it more difficult for the panel to move due to it's increased mass. Deadening makes it heavier and therefore more difficult to move/vibrate.

Now take off you hoser and go have another Molson eh!
