well, i am almost finished with my winter long project of deadening my crx ( i haven't even got to drive it since October) i am done with the front floors and rear hatch for the most part....all that's left are my doors. i used edead V1se and the liquid is sludge. here are some pics-

and no it hasn't taken since October, i started in May due to inclimate weather....October is when i put it in storage.

did you put on the sludge by brush or hand? i just deadened the outer door skin by hand, twas a funny experience.

If you use both a mat and a liquid it is best to put the liquid on top of the mat. they work very well this way. I would however make sure taht the mat is a reliable one which willn ot have problems adhering to the panel in time sof high heat. the added weight of a liquid can contribute to the mat sliding off IF the mat is not a quality product.
