Dead in the water!! HELP!!

My car is dead as dead can be! Well on my way to work my cd player kept power cycling... I thought that was weird. But figured maybe I have a loose connection. Well right before I got to work I was craving some McDonald’s coffee. So I went thru the drive thru. As I was leaving the drive thru my **** car dies as I was pulling out into traffic! This happened to be right in front of a city bus!! Nothing happened but I got the car started and was on my way… So I get to work and I shut my car off and I was curious to see what would happen when I tried to start it again… NOTHING!!! My car is completely dead in the water. I checked all my connections to my battery and all my cars fuses and everything seems ok. I checked my batteries voltage and its sitting at a nice 13.05v. I tried jumping it and nothing. There is absolutely no power at all. Nothing comes on or shows the least amount of hope of it coming on. It’s odd because I haven’t been pulling a lot of current this last month as I have been in between stereos. My car is actually stripped of all audio gear besides my cd player??? I am lost right now and have no idea what the problem is! Anyone have an idea of what can be wrong??

Starter of course. or somehow you fried your computer
Dude I have no power… No power door locks, no dome lights, nothing! Pretty sure its not my starter… //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

hopefully not a dead computer...

yea check the fuse box next to the batt under the hood..
is ur batt light on the dash on at all??

hope it's not ur computer, but that's in the pass kick if you are wondering...
Thanks for the help bro. Ill have to check it with a test light on my next break. Sitting here at my desk at work is horrible!

Im thinking it has to be main fuse inbetween batt and fuse block. Like 150 amp fuse.
I checked it this morning.. To the eye it looked ok but it may be blown. Its so weird though that everything kinda slowly died. My radio coming off and on.. Then my car stalling then starting up again. Now nothing? So so random!

i hate when you know something is wrong with ur car and you can't do anything about it till later...

thank god i dont have that problem while im at work.. cause i can work on my car while im at work:D

If the fuse doesn't resolve the problem look more closely at your negative on your battery and where they connect to your chassis/engine block to make sure they are tight and not corroded. A bad ground can cause these issues too.

^^^^beat me to it^^^^

If you have good voltage at the battery yet everything else is dead, make sure your connections are tight. Also since you have a volt meter have some one watch the voltage at the battery when you try to start, see if it fluctuates.
