i-pod connection

im trying to connect my i-pod to my pioneer headunit (in sig).

will just this cord allow me to control the i-pod from my HU?

my HU is i-pod compatible, it just doesnt come with the actual cord to link them together. and id like to be able to control everything and access my playlists and what not from my HU, not have to use the i-pod like when you use and AUX input.

thats the thing, nobody around here has the IB100. they all have the IB200 in stock, and that wont work with my HU.

best buy, circuit city, all the audio shops around here are out of stock on the IB100. somebody said they can get it, but they want $90 for it, which is rediculous IMO.

it says i need the CD-IB100, which i already knew. im having trouble finding one, which is why i want to know if the first link i put up is all i need.
