I was about make a thread about this cause I read the Z series on there site and honestly thought it was a joke...

My local delear has listed under Z series "Ask for pricing..."

I didn't ask them about it though.

It is a joke right?

Why isnt the 9900 series listed on the site?

DD doesnt make a 9900 series anymore, only a 9500 with a composite cone option (which is the difference between them anyways)

Zs are no joke but the listed specs are. DD will not let out there secrets so there specs are just crazy talk.

I figured resurecting was better then making new.

I also thought it might be a joke cause I haven't seen any of them around... anywhere.

But that's kinda what I figured is that they just put a bunch of nonsense on the site to keep secrets.

You should know by now that anytime something says ask for price, that means it is outrageously expensive. That being the reason why not many people have them.

Its an aweful high price for a sub that slowly looses its power what pushed hard. the neo they use isn't heat treated like the shocker neo or tc neos. dante said he looses all strength and has to swap them out after 25 or so burps.

Usually when they says "ask for pricing" means they want to dicker. They don't want you to know how much it costs... but I imagine it would be a lot of money. Still weird that there is so little info on it...

The new Z Series woofers have more Watts than any speakers we have ever built, so many Watts they got, that we thought of using a new slogan, Got Watts?, but that’s lame so we didn't. We tried to measure the exact amount of Watts a Z Series makes, but no matter how hard we tried to invent a machine to measure the speaker Watts, we could never do it, so they must really make lot of Watts.
