DD vs. RE which could be better

if it were to be given to me? MT's had a great showing at finals... but the number of popped cones concerns me a bit.

Or maybe.... Scottie Johnson's subs? The ones that get 8500w each at 49hz? haha ....Put a DD in there.

Lets think about Danny Britain who took out his 9917's and replaced them with MT's.... 2db gain... world record. What about the countless competitors that have replaced their DD's with RE stuff because of the huge gains and the fact that their subs DIDNT break anymore.

hey now, I am not by any means calling RE out... if you've read my posts you would've seen that I will be testing out MT 15's soon enough.

I've prolly said 4 times that i havent used the MT's yet... and more then 4 times said that I've liked all the other products... CS... etc....

Again: In my experience, a (top of the line) DD took a crap ton of abuse and was fine with it. I've seen alot of MTs take a beating. The MTs are impressive and I'm looking fwd to trying them. I'm a bit leary about the install they were in @ finals (along with alot of other things including but not limited to Scottie's run/rerun). Obviously I dont have all the details on it, nor am i going to ask.
