dd help and pricing

i am lookin very deeply in to dd subs. I was first going to get a 9500 15 in my trunk. I was told my loudiest set up would be 2 12s port facing passanger side .

i have a 95 avenger i could build a box in or make a box which would fit but i think that will be a task. Here is a picture of a trunk that looks like mine. Scroll down and there it is. what do you guys think my loudest (i/d) would be . I had 2 type r's before tuned to 32 off a directed 1500 and i loved it . What should i do

2`12's would theoretically be louder, but it depends on what you want to do

If you're atlking two of the same kind of subs nad have the cash go that way

I E two 9512's vs a single 9515, go with the 12's, but keep in mind the DD 9500/9900 series likes a LOT of juice to get movin //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If you can build the proper box, and get them the propler power...by all means get the 12s.

You'll be blowing your money if you get two 9500s of any size with just a 1500 to power them. If the amp makes 1500 @ 1ohm, get a pair of 2500s. The whole setup is based on how much space you have anyway. If you have the room for 2 12's then you should by all means use 2 12's. The pair will be louder on 1500w in a 5 cube box than a 9515 will be on 1500w in a 4 cube box.

rule of thumb for the series has been 2kw or more EACH-get 9500, less than 2kw each-get 3500's.

2500 would like that amount of juice. They hit hard to man, just because there a lower series doesnt mean they cant produce some sound.

Get 4 DD1010a's You'll blow the trunk off...They'd take about 6cuft total...counting port.....I've heard 4 DD1008a's ...Hit lower and louder than two Kicker L7 15's that were in a 5cuft ported box each...The 8's did it in only 5cuft total counting ports //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Off hand, how much are the 15's? I don't have a dealer in my area.

i don't remember off the top of my head, but it is very, very reasonable. give them a call, i think with no dealer in your area you might get team DD pricing.

12's are 365 shipped so would think no more than 380 for a 3515

The 15's jump up a little from the 10 and 12 pricing which is close to the same...You may be looking about $50 or so more for the 15
