DD components or midbass good speakers?

hey guys im currently running all DD equip such as amp and subs. i currently have PG RSD 6.5 front and rear in car. is it worth upgrading to DD? how uch do they run for new?

if i could afford them i would be running all DD componets they sound amazing but like every DD product u get what u pay 4 and u will b paying a pretty penny

the germans cost the standard dd comps are not that bad on price..

hes getting 2 more sets of germans.

the midbasses are fuggin awesome!!!!! h

i got the china dd components...i like them so far. tweeters are bright though. i paid 120 for them.

Let say each the components depend on what you wanna pay. The germans are AMAZING!! The handle lots of power. I believe retail is around 600 and they dont include crossovers. Very compareable to any other high end component set. The standare set sounds good just not that good. They tweeters are night and day diiference between the 2 sets. I thing they retail for about half of the germans. As far as power handling, the standard ones see about 50 watts per mid and per tweet. Now the germans is another story. Those mids see 200watts per and 100watts per tweet. They are more then capable of taking way more power.

I don't think power handling is the biggest factor on how good speakers are.. I guess for DD it is.
