Best comps to run on 75W RMS

I'm probably going to upgrade the amp running my ppi 365cs in my pick up. This will free up my pdx5to start putting together a system in my wifes MPV. This brings me to my question - any advice on the best 6.5 comps to run on 75W RMS? I'd prefer to keep the cash level around $80 - $130.

I had been considering bridging to have 2 150W channels to the front comps, but I sat in the back and listened to the factory 6x9s and they didn't sound too good. So I may want to upgrade the rears as well and am open to suggestions for that.

Thanks

comps can take like 5 rms to whatever their rated and still be good if im not mistaking.

Anyways thanks for making this thread lol. Was gonna soon or later...was planning on asking for like 60-70 rms comps for less than $100. Didnt know cadence made comps that are actually arent incredibly pricey.

The PG RSDs aren't a bad choice either, RSD65cs - Phoenix Gold 6.5" Component Speaker System. Should be a little bit cheaper on eBay. I pushed mine on 75rms for a while, and finally put them on 100rms and they shine. Not sure if the PPIs are still in the ~$130 range, but if they are, I would just grab another set of those. If not, definitely check out the Cadences, or the PGs. By the way, there is never too little power for a speaker, so you will be fine.

yeah! I love my PPIs but I only see them at onlinecarstereo for $309. ; (

What doesn't make sense to me is that the PPIs are rated at 60 rms and sound like they need more (and I've heard that too). The cadence are rated at 100rms but everyone says that 75 rms should be great for them. How much should I pay attention to specs?

It's all on how you set your gains, etc. Just have to be careful. There are people on here that have fed their PPIs 300rms, and said they took them like a champ. The PGs are rated for 60rms, and many people run 75-100rms.
