looking at dd amps,,, what is availible...... for running 3 1000 12" subs.... any suggestions..... are dd amps good... have not had any experience with these amps....
what is the obsession with running three subs? why cant you just have two or four? did you know that having three subs is not nessicarially better than having two in the correct enclosure?
if i were you i would get a pair of speakers instead. and what do you mean by "1000 12" subs".
you need to tell us exactally what model ultra-low frequency transducers you are using in order for us to elaborate what dc to ac power amplifiers are recommended.
DD are the first recommendation we give for amplifiers. The M1 would be the amp for your setup out of their stable of "DC to AC power converters" what ever that means?!? It is rated to be stable at 1ohm and with simple measurements and use of ohm's law we have found it to be stable well below that, just below clipping in standard mounting locations in trunks, under seats and the like....all day long. The key factor for that amplifier, aside from the output is that the remote gain control has a clipping indicator LED in it, so you can see in the driver seat when the amplifier is stressing and going to cause coil problems. We've done quite a few triple 1000 setups on M1's and they kill. Good luck.
