DD 9500 vs RE AUDIO XXX

Do you have an amplifier already? what car is it going in? how much space do you have?

you probably should stick with like a Digital Designs 2500 series or a sub that doesn't require a lot of power.

The 9500 don't need a ton of power. I didn't have more than 500 per when I would use them for SOUND QUALITY, I would still have to back them down some.

The subwoofer will go in a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 limited edition (2011), I can use all the boot.

At the moment I have the amplifier "Hollywood Excursion HXA 3K" with a Re Audio Se 15.

The Re Audio I have it's already loud but I want something much louder without lose any quality, since I got my Re Audio (5 years ago) I heard people talking very well about this DD 9515.

I know that it's going to be expensive but if the difference in output it's going to be much higher, I don't mind spending some money.

I found a DD 9515 super charged new for 500 pounds (705 dollars) and DD M2C new for 400 pounds (564 dollars), are these prices ok? Is there a better amplifier for this subwoofer?

Regarding the upgrades I think I already have big 3 with the extra battery, I have attached one picture so it shows my components at the moment.

Imo thaose are three options id spend my money on. The DD 9515 isn't a bad woofer

9515s have serious output no doubt but the listed subs ******* as well.. i say if you can get the DD 9500 for less than 500 go for it. if not grab a SSA zcon..

I was wondering, if I have my stock alternator and it pushes up to 800 watts (I was told previously), does it mean that I'm not getting 1200 watts rms?

I never considered this part of the car, so even if I get another subwoofer and a bigger amplifier without changing the alternator, it's not going to be louder, right?

No

It means you will start drawing from your battery

If you want more power it will draw more until your battery is too low and the amp protects or you clip the output signal or damage the amp

It is best to have an alternator to supply enough current but anything the alternator can't the battery will make up for

It helps alt to add a second battery near the amp
