DC/DC converter help

if there's a ground for it then ya how about apic of what your talkin about.

edit: after lookin at the manual for that unit all you have to do is make sure the convertor is connected to the head unit via the plug and screw the piece into something that it will secure to. and make sure that there are no cords near the unit as it will cause noise.

yes, that dc/dc converter needs to be grounded. there's a picture or drawing that shows the converter being screwed down with an arrow pointing to a ground symbol. its on page 3(part A) in the installation manual.

like horse man said that converter will make create some EMI(electromagnetic interference), so try not to run any wire carrying audio signals near it.
