i was going to get a 15" lvl 4/5coils for christmas too, but now i am going to buy my friends 15" XL so he can get 2 18" lvl 4s

I've seen a lot of sub threads but not much about DC... dunno what the one guy was saying...

I really like my Level 3 10. I've tried a lot of subs and I've been the most impressed with DC. I like how well it blends with my front speakers but can also pound really hard when I want it to. Best of both worlds.

Still trying to figure out what the optimal sealed is for it. I know people recommend ported but I'm limited on space.

I really like my level 4 12". I've been through a lot of subs and the dc has probably left the best impression on me. It sounds great and has great output when I need it and I don't even have it tuned as low as I maybe should. Only negative I can speak of is that the tinsel leads were snapped when I got the sub(bought it used of course) and when I was researching a fix for the tinsel lead problem I found several other people who had run into the same tinsel lead issue. I fixed the tinsels myself for about ten bucks and havent had a problem since. Sub is still one of my favorites. I have heard a few stories of people claiming inferior customer service from DC but it seems like the biggest issue wasn't the service they received but rather how long it took to get a hold of somebody to obtain that service. I emailed them about a recone and a response came in 2-3 days which in my opinion is acceptable.

I loved my Level 4 15" D2 in 4.5 net cubes tubed at 32Hz on 1400@1. Loud and musical at the same time. Im regretting selling it.

They have been winning plenty of trophys at the local Meca shows. I have never owned one, but have heard basically everyone from the lvl2s-5s and I like them. I think their best selling point is the fraction of price compared to DD, and the fact that they are probley a better daily sub then DD
