Faulty or Fallible information... LOL
Yes.
Nothing to laugh about. It's the truth. If you don't see that, then you have rather poor reasoning and logic skills.
You do not have information pertaining to failure rates, customer demographics, etc etc etc to draw the conclusions you attempted to make.
I repair the things, so since I repair them, I still don't know what I am talking about? Whatever.
You might be able to repair an amplifier. You might know what you are talking about in that regard. You being a repair man doesn't give you the ability to make assessments for which you do not have the supporting data. See my previous posts for a little insight into just a few of the problems with the conclusions you've attempted to draw.
You simply DO NOT have the necessary data and information to draw conclusions of "worst used amplifiers" or even reliability of amp A vs amp B. You don't. End of story. And it's rather hilarious that you tried.
Using your logic, if you've repaired more Orion 2500D's than you have a Pyramid amplifier, we could rate the Pyramid as a "better" amplifier. Have you repaired more Sparkomatics than you have the Orion 2500D ? If not, then we must conclude the Sparkomatic is a better amplifier.
Yeah....genius......
I could say something really not nice here but I think I will keep that to myself...

and next time I post a list of "problem amplifiers" I won't even bother to respond to posts like this one.
Or, you could simply try NOT drawing too many conclusions from the very limited about of information you possess.
just stating observations as a repair tech,
No, you were drawing invalid conclusions from a limited amount of information.
I am here to help out the little guy with making a choice on buying a used amplifier.
How is posting invalid conclusions helpful //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
After all, I didn't even post this here in the first place, someone else did.
So ? We aren't allowed to discuss information posted elsewhere on the internet on this forum ?
I suppose if you don't want your posts subjected to criticism or discussed elsewhere on the internet, you should refrain from using internet forums.
Also, just to clarify....I have no affiliations with any manufacturer, and do not own nor ever owned a single amplifier on that list.
