Meh.....I guess I personally wouldn't consider that list "fair" since he's just basing it off of the # of his repair invoices per amplifier model.

There are a lot of different factors that will affect these numbers, many of which are not necessarily related to actual amplifier reliability.

I think its a good way to rate them if all amps were installed by him with gains professionally set and users following guidelines to ensure proper usage. This cuts out variables and limits reliability to the amp alone and nothing else. For some reason, I don't think this is the case so I can't invest much into this list

So, for example, if he's never repaired a Pyramid amplifier it would be at the very top of the list as one of the most reliable amplifiers on the market !!

imagine how many kicker kx amps that are out there...as well as orion 2500d's.

most all of those are pretty **** popular amps... list seems worthless imo

Hmmmmm, you are right... B/c unless there were say, 15 people that he fixed amps for, and 5 used Kicker, 5 used planet audio, and 5 used memphis, it would be extremely inaccurate...

I highly doubt he is making a list of from what customers have sent in and what has failed on a particular amp that they had sent in.

He is more than likely talking about, the best built, or the best parts that they used to build. Stuff that 99% of us dont know about.. All we know is a capacitor, resistor, transformer etc...
