DB loss from flex

How much power? If you say more than 2000W I'd suggest you're doing something terribly wrong.
After rise is was 1700 watts.

It seems to me also I'm doing something wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but everything is set properly and ran correct. It might be the meter I'm using is out of calibration. New term sensor is on its way. So maybe I'm thinking its lower than it is.

LOL. I doubt the meter is lying to you.

How big of an amp? Really sounds like you're doing something wrong. Pics of the box as it sits installed?

Don't think I'm doing anything wrong man. give some time to get pics up, I'm tearing my back door apart due to the window regulator breaking. First amp used was a CT2200.1, did a 145.6 before. Went with a Tline from stang, same amp on the Tline 8 box did 142.3 decided to do the 21 again and this time installed my stetsom 3K3. Best was a 142.0 on the meter. Just had a friend who runs those amp check it out, he did some adjusting on the amp and does sound little bit better. Rise was 1.5 on 45 hz tone. Which still makes me believe it's the meter. If something sounds wrong please chime in.

could be the amp if your ct 2200.1 was that much louder.
That's what I'm thinking. It's pretty much new, I bought it new and didn't use it very much. Im going to swap it back in and see what happens.

Ok. Yeah I'm dealing with a great ford design window regulator problem. Forums are flooded with this common problem ugh.

You're talking about the cone area of a pair of 15's on 3K amp. You should be more in the neighborhood of 148. 149 and high change if you tune high-ish, still around 147 if you tune low. Just going by what I've done and what others with that sort of cone area and power manage. We were doing 143 with a single 15 on a JL 500/1 in my friend's Volvo and that was like 42hz not some super high SPL tuning. That's simply a really bad number for that much power and cone area. I'd suggest that the box or position of the box/port is not functioning as it should, because it's not like that's a bad sub or either of the amps you listed can't make rated power.

I could be totally wrong, I'm using a older meter. Term lab sensor should be here this week and im going to meter it again. That should tell me what's really going on. I was told that the port was a little to far from my hatch, so I'm going to move that closer also.

Ok. Clamped the amp tonight with brand new meters, 1 ohm rising to 2.93 at 738 watts. Seems super low to me. Maybe that's why I'm not seeing a higher number.

I'm scratching my head cause it seems super low wattage , it's rated 1200 @4 12.5

This weekend I'm pulling everything out, I'm going to double check everything over. Only thing I can think is my ground could be dirty or possibly came loose ? My one friend said he clamped 1800 but his one meter was acting up the other day so I can't go by that 100%
