DB Drive subs popping

New to the forum. I have a bit of a problem. I just got a new set up. I have 2 DB Drive 2k 15s in a custom box pushed by a hifonics bex2150.1 at 1 ohm (goodbye Rockford) and when I crank up the volume my lights dim now. I know I need more than stock electrical to run my system, but what would be the best way of going about it? Would just a new alternator be ok, or would I have to upgrade my battery(s)? As well? Thanks for your input.

a new alt from anywhere wont cut it, it has to a be a trusted alt. Ebay alts are generally all junk. Price relates with actual quality and power capabilities with alts. A proper High output alt will cost you anywhere from upper 300s to 550s. You will need to do the big 3 upgrade along with an AGM (deka, kinetik, xs power, northstar, Odyssey, diehard platinum) battery under the hood.

Those subs popping means they are on there way out already.

The suspension on the db subs go quick.
