OK and do you know about how much they cost? Also could you explain exactly what I would do with it if I just install the stuff myself?

It would install from the trunk running forward through the car up to the dash. Where you would then install your deck.

Ok so where the factory harness is plugged in to the factory amp I would unplug that and plug it into my new harness?

to the OP....You can go anywhere and order the harness, from CC, or BB, and it should be no more then 30 bucks. It is a 17 ft harness that bypasses your stock amplifier. if you want to do the install yourself its pretty **** easy. all you do is hook up the color coded wires from the long harness with the stereo harness, then run the wires from the front radio to the rear. most lincoln's have the stock amplifier and require this harness. i ran two myself this weekend at work and its not hard to do at all.

and IMO, i would solder the wire harness's together then run it from the front to the rear, it is alot easier.

Ok im starting to understand now. Is it a better idea not to use the factory amp on aftermarket speakers or which would you reccomend to bypass it or use it?

you would unplug the BLACK plug and the antenna wire on the amp and plug it into the harness, which has a plug for the black plug, and the antenna.

it doesn't really matter, just if you want to change the radio out, you will lose the usage of the amp.

im sorry for that misinformation, there is a harness that you can buy to retain your factory amplifier, if you go to http://www.metraonline.com and put your vehicle in the slots, you can actually see which harness's fit your vehicle.

Audiovisonz the one across from neil sandler. I called audiomasters though for the harness and he said 20 so I guess I have to go pick that up.
