Dang fuse...

Well, my 100 amp fuse just blew out again, I shoulda known 100 amps wasnt enough for ~1800 watts, 140+ amps is probably what I should be using.

I am using a 4 gauge wiring kit right now, but that's part of the reason my fuse keeps blowing I'm sure.

I don't have enough money for a new alt/battery right now, so would buying a 0/1 gauge wiring kit + a bigger fuse eliminate my "fuse-blowing" problem?

definately get 1/0. 4awg isn't anywhere near enough for 4awg.

yes definately, get 1/0 and upgrade our fuse, then you shouldnt have any problems

Would upgrading to 0/1 gauge lower my voltage anymore? Would it make my system louder, because now the power is being properly sent to the subs? What would be other effects of upgrading to 0/1?

allow better current flow to your amp, give you a higher current tolerace, bigger fuse will not blow
