It wasn't looking good for Ryan Newman after this crazy *** wreck. I thought he was dead. He's in serious condition but docs say injuries are not life threatening. But this is exactly what I was talking about. Newman tried to block my boy Blaney at the last second and there was nothing Blaney could do. Guess they'll figure it out when someone dies.

Its ridiculous. Wrecking ain't racing. He's lucky af. The safety implementations introduced after Dale Sr's death saved his life. There's a slow mo vid of it on YouTube and it's insane. Without the safer barrier and Hans device he would of been dead in impact. When LaJoy hit him on the driver's side and sent him into the air you can see the whole car bend and distort. There where two other major wrecks bigger than that that took out over half the field. All cause by trying to block. All that said I just knew Blaney was gonna win, not a Hamlin fan.
