I think ther both great subs. I have heard the IA Death Penatly 15 and it nice got loud for shure. I have personalley ran almost every DD woofer and I love them they take a beating and keep going. The DD9515 will take well over it rms my friend has 1 running daily at .7 ohms off a modded D3 and it takes it like a champ hes using a 4.75 cube box with 70 square of port and boy does it f#ck#ng wang. I would go DD just because I am more experienced with there Subs. I know some people are saying DD has horrible service but I have never had a problem with service. A recone is a little pricey buy hey if you can afford the woofer dont complain about around 150 on a recone. I think there both nice subs but I would goe with DD cause i have more experience with them Either you cant lose.

i have a DD9512e (thanks BUMPING, ) and the short while i had it before sending it to dd for a dustcap issue...it played music good enough for me, i had no complaints....than again i am sql tone deaf...if its loud its good for me, lol..

Everyone says DD has bad Sq, but for a woofer that has that much output I think they sound alright. Bumpin150 did you ever try any of the DD's sealed? Ive been told they fare quite well and the Sq isnt half bad.
