Now ill be running the subs at 1ohm, and I think I can use a mono amp to power 2 subs right? If so ill be using one of these amps

Not sure which Im going to get. Most likely the hifonics since its way cheaper...even though i heard it probably runs at about 1800watt rms instead of 2000.

They 2 12's will be in a sealed box at 1.0cuft per sub. Will be ordering my box from these guys unless anyone on here wants to build the same exact thing for cheaper.

I personally would run the Kinetik under your hood without a battery in the back. With Rockford amps, IIRC, don't pull that many amps compared to other 2k watt amps. I could be way off but 1 Kinetik or Optima G31 would be all you needed.

That hifonics amp will be 395 dollars after shipping from wooferetc.com, why not go on ebay and find a better deal.

Why not try and build your own box, all you need is a circular saw, a jig saw, and some mdf.

Also, I'd expect that RF amp to give you about 2600-2800 w rms.

Well actually I would try and build my own box, but im not good at reading things and being able to preform them. If someone had a buildlog of that exact box going into a camaro I would be all for it.

And wow, are they seriously that underated? I expected I would probably get like 2300-2400. Guess I will be going with the hifonics.

And any idea on a amp for those comp speakers?

Im going to start looking for a build log like that box.. Cause Id love to be able to build my own boxes.

I'd run a Deka Intimidator G31 and save some $$$. Nothing at all wrong with Kinetik obviously, but I find them to be just a little too proud of their name IMO.

How much you looking to spend on a comp amp and what kind of power do those comps need? Maybe a Sundown 100.4 bridged, or 100.2...

Hmm I actually might try that build. But 4 Q's would be expensive as hell :O. And Ill be researching everyday on my offtime at work till I order everything.
