with 3 type Rs it will be somewhere around 100-1200 a subwoofer and 1500-1600 a sub on the aq

no numbers with my new car, but i had 2 of the SDC2.5 12's in a maxima off of a crunch gp 3000d pro, and i hit a 145.3@35hz at the headrest, and im sure my setup now is definiantly louder with the hdc3's and the 3500d

Its all on how you build your box/wall/whatever .... about 10% on the subs. But 3 Type R's are more surface area, so if your wanting a groundpounder thats what you should aim for. buddy of mine did a 152.x with single 15 and 3000D

this is a no brainer in my opinion. Type R's for sure

1) more cone area

2) proper power supplied

3) less total cost even for 3 vs 2

the only con for type r's:

larger space taken up inside the vehicle by the enclosure.

Type r's sound nice imo. never heard a hdc3 tho.

reasons why not to get hdc3's

1) they will want more power (2k+ each)
