Daily 11second pickup

fast trucks are pointless, as are lifted and slammed ones.

but id rather have a layedout worthless truck than a good stock height one.

good run.

That post was pointless.

not exactly... their stock v8 was only the 5.2; but 5.9s are easily swapped in. and no factory manual ****** was ever offered with the 5.9 for dakotas.
i owned a gen II and they made the r/t's with the 5.9L v8 stock didn't they? i could be wrong but i don't think i am.

the dakota generations follow two different camps:

the official DC generations go

gen I = 88-96

genII = 97-04

genIII = 05-present

most message boards (like dak-dur) go

gen I = 88-91

genII= 92-96 because of several changes, intro of the Magnum engine label

genIII= 97-04

genIV= 05-present

but whichever you follow the 5.9 was only available in 1998-2003 dakotas. not all 5.9 daks were r/ts though, as a few were put into 4x4s and quadcabs and weren't labeled as R/T from the factory.

nice truck, my buddy has a 98 dodge ram 1500 running 13's. supercharged/nitrous, but unfortuanly they dont make head gaskets that can withstand 14 lbs of boost. so he keeps blown the head gasket.

but cool truck for sure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
