Still almost caught up to him too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Nice run however. Is that even your truck? If so ******* and bumping blazer would like it. What all is in it? Must have done some crazy shit to it to get that trunk in the high 11's.

Apparently not.Is that a crime?

I drive what is mechanically the same thing as a Toyota Corolla.

Racing of any kind isn't my bag, fella.

Numbers are mid to upper 400's on both.

He had a fast car, he did almost catch up, none the less though, we were not competing, just racing in a Friday event designed to keep the locals off the streets.

The truck has a blown 408. Through some dyno analysis and research, we have come to reason that 9psi at 6400 is performing outside the blowers operating range. That leads to the amazing tq drop off after 5500 rpm.

Saywhat, that is your right to feel that way, but if you are a true gearhead like those of us envolved with this truck and our racecar, you come to care not about the make/model/aesthetics, you learn to love it if it's fast or throws your *** in the seat.

Chris, it's not. The video was shot from the tower which is a good 6 or 7 stories up.

that pickup runs good. My first thought was how much nitrous. Its great to see something fast that isnt baby bottle feed. Does anyone know how to chop out a piece of a video for posting?

oh ok then congrats, now post more pics of the motor:up2somet:
It took me a few months just to get him to put the vid up, I will try to sneak some tomorrow befor ework.

BTW, when I said we were losing serious power at 6400 and 9psi, I meant that the blower is spinning at an amazing 60k+rpm when the maximum recommended is 55krpm. Efficiency at that point is not even shown:crap:

No nitrous, although with the proper amount, it is sickly what it can do:yumyum:

I am not sure how to get screen shots, someone in the lounge could probably help.
