Maroon 1996 Buick Regal Custom Nicknamed "Margaret" (3.8L V6 3800 Series II 193k miles)
HU: Considering swapping the one from my Prix into it/possibly snag one cheap from CL (Dad bought two by accident. Sold me this one for $50 BNIB.)
Wiring: 2,000 Strand Count Shok 4-Gauge (Thanks to @Vertex Audio) Think 66' is enough? lol
Subs: (2) Freshly re-coned SA-8v1.5's (Thanks to @woofercooker) 600w RMS each
Box: (Before displacement) 1.25ft^3 Ported tuned to 32hz.
Amp: Planet Audio AC3000.1D (only planning on 1k-1.2k @ 1-Ohm) (Thanks to NewEgg) RMS Ratings: 2100W x 1 @ 1 ohms/1500W x 1 @ 2 ohms/1000W x 1 @ 4 ohms

[*]Find/Swap HU (Saw nice Alpine on Craigslist for $50, may be able to talk 'em down.)

[ ] Find/Swap RCA's + Remote wire (RCA's $20 From Vertex)

[*]Find/Swap wiring harness ($10 Walmart)

[*]Create a direct frame Ground + use grommet

[ ] Find ring terminals for Shok 4-Gauge

[*]Secure boards over spare tire compartment (Use silicone?)

[*]Secure carpet in trunk

[*]Fabricate a way to secure the amp

[ ] Remote sub control wire routing/dial placement

[ ] Volt-meter wire routing/display placement

[*]Load test battery under the hood

[ ] Remove/assess 6x9's (As they're not working)

[ ] Fuse holder w/ appropriate fuse (ANL)

[ ] Set gain w/ DMM (Target is 1k-1.2k x 1 @1-Ohm)

[ ] Tubing for Power/Remote/RCA's

[ ] Theft proof install (Security Torx/Special Screw Head)

S'all good. For $500 I'd say it's **** good. When I'm done I'll have more money in Equipment than the car itself.

'Tis why its a beater and not my DD. Just about any car that's 5+years old has rust on it, at least in Michigan.

Sitting under my bed waiting for my 4-GA wire to arrive..

These are sitting in the computer room.. making my old t1 look bad.

Tried building a box, home depot fuc*ed my cuts up twice.. needless to say I got my $ back.

Wasted a quite a bit of time.... Most likely having box built by Star Mountain, heard many good things about Brian's boxes.

He got it for 100 bucks with warranty. Even if it's total crap, it'll fit the bill for this install.

alright cool, my friend bought the "1500w" version anarchy series, and it has a single 25a fuse LOL.
