d4 sub @ 3 ohms? -_-

Is there any reason in particular why my d4 sub, which is wired down for 2 ohms read exactly 3.0 ohms or sometimes 2.8 on my dmm? Is there something wrong with it, or something like that? And also, if thats just the way it's going to be, does anyone know what an APSM-1300 puts out at 3 ohms? It's 600 @ 2, which is why I bought it for my sub, which is 500 rms. Thanks

Actually, I haven't done that but I'm about to. when i first put it in I literally knew hardly anything about car audio. Ill let you know in a few minutes here.

Ok so i took it out and each VC was about 4.2 ohms. The problem was that somehow the wires that i had connecting the two VC's had gotten frayed and so there were only a few strands hanging on. So i redid my entire sub wiring with 10 guage wire instead of 20 guage wire, and now it reads at 2.1 or 2.2 ohms at the amp. MUCH better haha. So my fault, i learned my lesson. thanks for helping
