D2 subs wiring to .5?

given my Diamond Audio D1000.1 amp, delivering 1100 watts @ 1 ohm, how can i go about wiring two 12" Obsidian Audio D2 subs so i can get that full 1100 watts? also how will this affect my electrical?

**note: i do not have big 3 and do i want to have to get an extra battery. this is going in a 2007 Jeep Liberty

2 d2 subs can either be .5 or 2

idk if that amp will handle being wired to .5, but there's only one way to find out

dont think you better try.i've never heard of anyone running a diamond amp at .5

well that was fast... yeah i was thinking it might be a bad idea. i got offered two D2 Obsidian 12's for 210 shipped. if only i can find two D4's for that price.

Hell with a second battery and the big three it's still a bad idea! 1/2 ohm is VERY hard on amps and the electrical powering them.
